The life of the church is the highest life, and its office is to pray. Its prayer life is the highest life, the most fragrant, the most conspicuous.

When God’s house on the earth is a house of prayer, then God’s house in heaven is busy and powerful in its plans and movements. ‘For mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people’ (Isaiah 56:7), says our God. Then, His earthly armies are clothed with the triumphs and spoils of victory, and His enemies are defeated on every hand… The very life and prosperity of God’s cause – even its very existence – depend on prayer. And the advance and triumph of His cause depend on one thing: that we ask of Him. Ven. Wisdom Ihunwo – Cathedral Archdeacon.

About St Pauls

Faith. Passion. Community. Worship. These are the cornerstones behind St.Paul’s Cathedral Diobu, and we approach each day with these in mind. Founded in 1904, our Church was established on the ideals of giving everyone a chance to learn, grow, and define their own religious identity through worship. Becoming a church member means joining a family who, each day, are devoted to expressing their love for God. We thank our big Daddy, Most Rev. I C O Kattey (JP), Our Archdeacon, Ven. John Adubasim and the rest of the clergy for their continuous counsel and prayers, which was instrumental to the success we recorded in the Church

Most Rev. ICO Kattey (JP)Archbishop of Niger Delta Province. Bishop Niger Delta North  Diocese.
